Access 2 Card
The Easter Seals Canada Access2 Card program helps to ensure recreational, cultural, and entertainment venues are more accessible to all. The Access2 Card allows an individual with a disability's support person to get in for free or at a discounted rate when the individual with a disability presents the card at participating venues. The individual must have a permanent disability and require the support of a support person to be eligible for the card.

Free Virtual Recreation Programs for Individuals with Disabilities
Easter Seals Alberts invites participants to join them weekly for free virtual events as they laugh, create, learn and connect. All virtual events will take place using Zoom’s audio and video-sharing platform. They will explore a new theme together through games, arts and crafts, music, and even virtual field trips every week.

Free Virtual Recreational Buddy Program for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities
Free program. The Two of a Kind Recreational Virtual Buddy Program is a free program that aims to close the distance that many of us are experiencing during the pandemic, particularly for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We want to increase support for youth with disabilities and their families, providing them with online opportunities to interact with others, receive mentorship, and have fun virtually! Your child and their buddy would have a virtual meeting for approximately 1-2 hours/week where they would participate in a variety of activities; arts and crafts, reading, movie nights, online games, or simply just chatting to their new buddy! Various group activities will also be available for your child to virtually meet and interact with other volunteers and buddies!

Independent Living Resource Centre Calgary (ILRCC)
Learn Program
Various programs and events offered to adults with disabilities to interact with others, learn new skills, and have fun. Programs include arts and crafts, yoga, bowling, and more. Programs do not require PDD funding - visit their website for details on program costs.

Recreational and Social Activities for Individuals with Brain Injuries
The Community Integration Program (CIP) offers meaningful recreational and social opportunities for clients in group and one-to-one settings. Facilitated by ARBI’s recreation therapists, these virtual and face-to-face sessions take place at our facilities or out within the community. Community Integration Programs Offered: Community Kitchen Program, Cooking Skills Program, Gardening Program, Golf Program, Music Therapy Program, Peer Connect Program, Seated Exercise Program (In-Person & Virtual), Walking Program, Art Program, and Woodworking Program.

Trico Centre for Family Wellness
Skill Builder Recreation Program
Offers skill building programs that work on fine motor skills, making friends, anxiety, and confidence, as well as non-competitive sports programs. Skill Builder programs are open to all children and youth. If your child would benefit from one-on-one support and/or is eligible for aide support (i.e. FSCD), they ask caregivers to make arrangements and notify the Programs Director.
