Coffee and Conversation for Caregivers' of Children with Down Syndrome
Open to parents with children of all ages and caregivers supporting individuals across the lifespan. Children 0-6 years old are welcome to attend. Come and meet new people, chat about everything from diagnosis, pre-schools, community supports, programs and resources, schools, successes and challenges, caregiver needs and anything that’s on your mind.

Visiting Parents Program
The Visiting Parents Program is comprised of trained volunteers who willingly give their time because they remember what is like when they were told their baby had Down syndrome. They will be happy to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and share with you what life has been like for them and their families.

If you are a new or expecting parent, are new to the Calgary area, or are looking to connect with other parents, Ups and Downs is here for you. Registered as a charity in 1987, Ups & Downs has supported individuals with Down syndrome, their parents, families, and friends in the Calgary area for over 30 years.
