Youth Mentorship Program
Awo Taan’s Youth Mentorship Program is for any youth aged 13-17. The program consists of traditional aboriginal teachings, cultural awareness and support as well as physical wellness and recreational events.

Family Wellness Centre
The Family Wellness Centre offers supports including early childhood development and care; Triple P Positive Parenting Program; family support; Womens Healing Circles; Mens Healing Circles; Aboriginal Cultural Support; information & referrals; a toy lending library; child care for parenting programs; youth and family support; and more.

Calgary Emergency Shelter for Aboriginal Women
The heartbeat of Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society is our shelter facility, a place of refuge, healing, and hope for vulnerable women and their children in times of crisis. The shelter provides basic needs and housing for up to 32 people for a 3-week period.

The Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society is a 32 bed full-service women’s emergency shelter in Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to providing services to women and children from all cultures. Our shelter operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with both on-site and on-call counsellors available at all times.
