Recreational and Social Activities for Individuals with Brain Injuries

The Community Integration Program (CIP) offers meaningful recreational and social opportunities for clients in group and one-to-one settings. Facilitated by ARBI’s recreation therapists, these virtual and face-to-face sessions take place at our facilities or out within the community. Community Integration Programs Offered: Community Kitchen Program, Cooking Skills Program, Gardening Program, Golf Program, Music Therapy Program, Peer Connect Program, Seated Exercise Program (In-Person & Virtual), Walking Program, Art Program, and Woodworking Program.

About this Organization

ARBI is the only non-profit organization in Canada that utilizes a combined professional and volunteer service delivery model to provide long-term neurorehabilitation and family support for survivors of severe acquired brain injury, caused by: traumatic injuries (falls, motor vehicle accidents, assaults, sports injuries); and non-traumatic injuries (brain tumors, strokes, infections, aneurysms, lack of oxygen).
