Behavioural Developmental Supports

The Centre is an approved Early Childhood Services (ECS) provider through Alberta Education. We use a naturalistic developmental behavioural approach, an approach proven to be effective for children with autism. The Centre’s onsite PUF program serves all students who meet the criteria, regardless of whether or not they have a diagnosis of autism. Eligibility is dependent on numerous factors which we would be happy to discuss with you.

Behaviour and Developmental Support agreements are FSCD-funded services that support children under the age of 17 years 11 months.

Services are designed to improve daily living skills and increase caregiver capacity to provide developmentally-appropriate parenting. To access Specialized Services at the Centre, children require a documented diagnosis of autism or a query of autism and must qualify under FSCD’s criteria.
