Calgary Social Skills Group for Children Ages 6-9

In this 12-week program, your child will learn skills to cope with challenging situations within play environments. They will learn to take turns, follow their peer's lead, cope with losing and problem-solve.

Run by a registered psychologist this group is intended to provide support and education to parents of children with disabilities.

Our weekly respite groups provide opportunities for socialization in a fun and child-oriented environment. Our experienced staff can support all needs and strengths. ​Each session is 3 hours long, and we offer direct billing to FSCD to reduce the cost to the parent. Additional fees may be required for children that require a one-to-one ratio.​ Booking is flexible; families can sign up for as many or as few sessions as they would like.

We can support individuals, couples, and families of all ages with a variety of concerns. Whether you prefer in-person or virtual sessions, we are here to help. Our low-income practicum counselling aims to make mental health services more accessible while providing education and training to master's students. Our partnership with Community Connect YYC offers a unique platform that reduces barriers to accessing these services.
