Through intensive forms of physiotherapy, speech, occupational therapy, massage and a variety of innovative forms of equipment and delivery models, SMILE will ensure that taking part in the Intensive Therapy model will help advance the child’s development and quality of life.

Speech Language Pathology
At SMILE, our Speech Language Pathologist helps children with most aspects of communication and feeding. Being that communication can come in many forms, such as body language, eye gaze, vocalizations, language, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and other expressions, these are all areas that our SLP explores with clients.

Occupational Therapy Services
Occupational Therapy is typically focused on the development of fine-motor skills, the vestibular system, sensory stimulation, and/or feeding strategies.

Pediatric Message
At SMILE, we offer more traditional forms of massage, as well as fascial stretch therapy. Everybody can benefit from massage. It can help regulate the nervous system, assist with calming, help with spasticity, and digestion.
Parents can also utilize massage to ease the physical and mental stresses they experience. With the flexibility to take advantage of massage services during your child’s therapy sessions.

Physiotherapy Services
Physiotherapy appointments are typically focused on the development of gross-motor skills, body alignment, and a greater awareness of the body in space. Different types of techniques can be utilized during a PT appointment, including CME/DMI, body compression garments, bounce therapy, spider cage therapy, and others.

Multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the treatment of developmental disorders in children. Our clinic is a space where all are welcome. We will make individualized plans to support each child's unique needs. Staff include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, paediatric massage therapists, ABM neuromovement specialists, therapy assistants, and others.
