Gateway to Digital Inclusion Program

Our Digital literacy workshops cover many topics. You can learn to build a website, create graphic content, connect with others online, grow your internet vocabulary and increase your employable digital skills. This program is for those aged 18 and over, those who are legally entitled to work in Canada, have access to the internet, have an interest in receiving training to build digital skills, and have a self-identified disability-based barrier.

Calgary Employment Resource Centre
Gateway builds the skills, knowledge, and abilities of job seekers. We provide person-directed employment services to help job seekers overcome barriers and connect with the employers in need of their unique skills and talents. Gateway additionally offers a variety of employment workshops.
Ages: 15-34

Family Resource Centre
The ultimate goal of our Family Resource Centre is to enhance each family’s expertise on their own children and provide concrete resources that can ease the journey as the family navigates the next steps. Our FRC team is made up of families, neurodiverse individuals, and multiple ethnicities that have varied experiences. The team partners with various organizations to continually increase our diversity of thought and capacity to work with all families. Offers a variety of online workshops and support groups. This program is for those aged 18 and over, those who are legally entitled to work in Canada, have access to the internet, have an interest in receiving training to build digital skills, and have a self-identified disability-based barrier.

Free Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) Support
A Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a long-term savings plan contributed to by the Government of Canada and a must-have tool for anyone in Canada living with a disability and who qualifies for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC). Gateway Association is providing free RDSP support to all Albertans who are in need! We have RDSP coordinators, Jacquie and Fiona, ready to help support you.

They envision a community where all children grow within a family; all children learn together in neighbourhood schools; all adults work at real jobs in the community; all adults have real homes and real friends; and all people are valued, contributing members of their communities.
