Children enter Early Childhood Services (ECS) with us as early as two years eight months and can continue through preschool and kindergarten until they enter grade one. Step by Step is a private ECS provider that follows the Alberta Education curriculum and standards. Funding to attend the ECS program could be provided by accessing Program Unit Funding (PUF) from Alberta Education. If your child has been screened and found to have significant developmental delays or disability they may be eligible.

When parents recognize their toddler is missing milestones that come easily to their peers, there are few supports prior to preschool that address developmental delays. First Steps seeks to fill this gap by providing classes to children ages 19 months - 3 years. Children participate in activities and therapy aimed at building communication, engagement, sensory awareness, fine motor and gross motor skills. Early intervention classes can help reduce the long-term impacts of developmental delays as your child grows. Offers 2 day, 3 day, and 5 day programs.

Expertly led by a pediatric occupational therapist, our engaging and interactive baby classes foster a nurturing environment where little ones can flourish. Through joyful play, music, and gentle exercises, babies will explore their developing motor skills, sensory awareness, and social interactions. Parents will actively participate and gain valuable insights into their child’s development.
