Bridging Connections FASD Program
Our Bridging Connections team helps by: Providing supports and advocacy before, during, and after assessment, linking Métis Albertans with cultural supports and resources, connecting individuals to FASD Networks, resources, and information, supporting the navigation of community resources and systems, informing and supporting the MNA citizenship process, and offering cultural training to professionals who work with the Métis community.

FASD Caregiver Connect Night
It will be a safe space for parents and caregivers to come together to have a conversation for support, camaraderie, inspiration, troubleshooting, and sharing what’s hard. Learn practical tips for raising children/youth with FASD and participate in conversation with other caregivers who understand. Whatever you might be feeling right now — overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, fearful — You are not alone!
Ages: 0-17
Community Wellness Advocate
In partnership with 211 Alberta, the CWA can help Métis Albertans aged 16 and older in their mental wellness journey by providing information and referrals to local mental health related supports and services; advocacy; support with identifying mental wellness related goals and improving mental health; system navigation to appropriate mental health, community, and cultural supports; and follow-up appointments by phone, when needed, for continued support. A financial assistance program is available in regard to appointments with a therapist, counsellor, or psychologist.
